What To Expect on a Group Fitness Retreat
So, you are searching for a holiday that offers something different. You need time away from your hectic schedule, to escape the stresses of daily life and want to focus on your health and well-being. The thought of FITNESS + HOLIDAY might seem like an oxymoron, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. A group fitness retreat is a great way to escape to explore a new destination. Gone are the days where if you are fully committed to your health & fitness regime in daily life that all that hard work will be undone when you go away on holidays. Example day on a Group Fitness Retreat
- Wake Up – Early start to make the most of the day
- Morning workout – featuring HIIT, boxing, Pilates, spin or circuit training
- Delicious healthy breakfast
- Surf lesson or fitness testing or free time
- Mid-morning snacks and free time
- Workshop or free time
- Lunch & pool-time
- Cycling tour or cooking class or spa treatments
- Meditation workshop, massages or down time
- Restorative or Ariel Yoga
- Cocktails (or mocktails) followed by dinner
- Free time before bed
This is just an example of what you can expect to enjoy on a group fitness retreat, with each of our retreat options providing something different. Each day will include at least two workouts, usually one in the morning then another in the afternoon, but they are always optional. Scheduled excursions will also be available to join throughout your week – with a sunrise volcano hike often on the agenda to choose from. There is always plenty of free-time scheduled to spend time relaxing by the pool or enjoying some well-earned massage time.
